IMV Technologies announces advancements in on-farm reproductive scanning

IMV Technologies has launched its next generation of ImaGo fertility scanners, to offer vets one of the most durable ultrasound scanners available for field use. With farm vets relying on accurate and efficient scanning tools to make informed decisions, the new ImaGo L/C and ImaGo Flex products provide a robust, portable solution built for mixed-practice and bovine specialists. The scanners aim to streamline workflows and improve early pregnancy detection, supporting better herd management decisions.

Key Features of ImaGo

Portable, standalone device comprising probe and compact, high-brightness screen, housed in a rugged casing.

Species-specific settings for consistent, accurate scans.

Option for single sealed probe unit (either curved or linear) or Flex version where probes can be interchanged be used with a selection

Ergonomic wrist or chest mounting options

Four-hour interchangeable battery that can be charged in a vehicle between visits

The ImaGo also helps with earlier pregnancy detection thanks to its Colour Flow Doppler. This allows vets to identify non-pregnant cows sooner, reduce time between failed inseminations and re-breeding and can save farmers up to £3-4 per cow per day.

ImaGo L/C

Optimised for bovine reproduction, with applications in ovine, swine, and equine scanning.

Sealed probe (choose from linear or curved) making it fully waterproof for maximum durability in farm environments.

ImaGo Flex

Compatible with seven interchangeable probes for mixed-species applications, including IVF and IMF procedures.

Splashproof design to withstand demanding conditions.
