To support our continued growth, we are looking for a General Manager EMEA based in Europe, preferred Europe Union.
Role and Responsibilities:
The GM of EMEA assures the Commercial performance, development and represents the interests of IMV Technologies in the region.
This leader will have full commercial and team responsibility of the EMEA perimeter in following areas:
- Sets and Execute business goals and actions plans with the IMV Farm Animal team in accordance with IMV Group policies and plans to achieve desired results
- Commercial – Sales performance, Marketing resource allocation, Sales Force efficacy and management
- Financials responsibility (P&L management, EBITDA performance, Budget creation and management, Working Capital management)
- HR – People management, Talent development, Team motivation, Team targeting and Objective setting
- Supply Chain and Demand forecasting
Key Accountabilities include:
- Leads the IMV FA EMEA Managers and team in daily job to achieve targets.
- Commercial Sales Management including business development, direct sales and distribution sales.
- Manage and follow up pricing in Sales Orders according to pricing policies.
- Support the IMV Group with Commercial Excellence initiatives deployment.
- Ensure high levels of service to the customer and develop the profitability of those services.
- Be responsible for resource planning within the FA EMEA parameter
- Ensure Compliance in your region and support company administration for our affiliates
- Ensure On Time Delivery to customers is consistently achieved.
- Follow up and drive inventory levels to optimize Working Capital Employed.
- Define, update and execute a EMEA three-year Strategy Plan.
The Profile:
Education and experience requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in business and administration, engineering or life sciences from major university. MBA or equivalent is preferred.
- Commercial experience 10 years
- Previous experience as a General Manager of an affiliate or similar.
- Five-year experience minimum in a business management and direct team leadership
- Strong experience in commercial development across multiple geographies
- Direct sales experience required. Distributor management experience is a plus.
- A candidate familiar with animal husbandry is an additional asset.
- Financials acumen.
- Experience in a variety of operational areas including but not limited to supply chain / logistics, EHS, lean management appreciated.
- Good communicator in English other main European languages are beneficial (French, Spanish, German).
